Arnold & Porter is seeking a junior to mid-level associate to join the Investment Management sub-group of the Corporate & Finance Group in our New York, Washington D.C., San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Chicago, or Denver office.
Qualified candidates must have a minimum of one year of experience in investment management transactional work, including in private fund formation, and some familiarity with the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and the Investment Company Act of 1940. Experience representing institutional investors and wealth advisory firms is a plus. All applicants should have excellent academic credentials and strong written and verbal communication skills.
Our cross-office team is collaborative, collegial, and close-knit, with a culture of mentoring and a great deal of partner interaction. This role is ideal for a driven team player looking for a high level of responsibility and partner contact.
Applicants must currently be licensed or be eligible to become licensed, to practice law in the jurisdiction in which they are applying.
